AMERICA HAS A NEW OFFICIAL “NATIONAL MAMMAL”
Earlier this week, President Barack Obama made history by signing an act into law, giving America a new “National Mammal.”
Honestly, did you realize that we did NOT have a “National Mammal”?
Well, we didn’t before –and now we do. And, that mammal is the … buffalo.
It’s a cool choice because buffalo were nearly extinct – and have made a great comeback. They’re definitely a symbol of the Wild West.
Of course, the Bald Eagle will always be the most recognizable symbol of the country.
